  • 2 Mixing bowls Large + medium
  • 1 Electric or hand mixer For creaming butter/sugar
  • 1 Cookie scoop or spoon For portioning dough
  • 1 Cooling rack For setting cookies
  • 1 Measuring cups/spoons Standard set
  • 1 Parchment paper Air fryer safe (optional)

Ingredients

Cookie Dough

  • 1 ½ cups All-purpose flour sifted
  • ½ cup Butter softened, unsalted
  • ½ cup Brown sugar packed
  • ¼ cup Granulated sugar
  • 1 large Egg room temp
  • 1 teaspoon Vanilla extract
  • ½ teaspoon Baking soda
  • ¼ teaspoon Salt
  • 1 cup Semi-sweet chocolate chips
  • ½ cup Walnuts or pecans chopped (optional)

Instructions

  • Cream butter and sugars until fluffy.
  • Mix in egg and vanilla.
  • Combine flour, baking soda, and salt in a separate bowl. Mix with wet ingredients.
  • Fold in chocolate chips (and nuts, if using).
  • Scoop dough into balls and lightly flatten with fingers.
  • Air fry at 320°F for 8–10 minutes.
  • Cool in basket for 2 minutes, then transfer to rack.

Notes

Optional: Chill dough for 15 minutes for thicker cookies. Use air fryer-safe parchment for easier cleanup.
