Instructions
Preheat oven to 350°F and grease loaf pan.
Mix dry ingredients (flour, sugar, baking powder, salt).
Whisk wet ingredients (butter, eggs, vanilla, milk).
Fold wet into dry, don’t overmix.
Dice apples, toss with cinnamon and brown sugar.
Layer batter and apple mix in loaf pan.
Bake 50–60 minutes until toothpick comes out clean.
Cool 10 minutes in pan, then transfer to cooling rack.
Whisk glaze (powdered sugar and milk), drizzle on top.
Slice and serve.
Notes
For best texture, don’t overmix the batter. Use tart apples for a nice contrast with the sweet glaze.
