  • 1 Mixing bowl (large) For oat mixture
  • 1 Mixing bowl (medium) For apple filling
  • 1 Measuring cups/spoons
  • 1 Sharp knife For dicing apples
  • 1 Wooden spoon or spatula
  • 1 Cooling rack Optional but recommended

Ingredients

  • 2 cups Rolled oats Old-fashioned preferred
  • 2 medium Apples Fresh, diced
  • cup Honey or maple syrup Natural sweetener
  • ¼ cup Almond or peanut butter For binding
  • 2 tablespoon Coconut oil or butter Melted
  • 1 teaspoon Cinnamon Ground
  • 1 teaspoon Vanilla extract
  • ½ teaspoon Baking powder
  • ¼ teaspoon Sea salt
  • ¼ cup Chopped walnuts or pecans Optional
  • ¼ cup Raisins or dried cranberries Optional

Instructions

  • Preheat oven to 350°F and line a baking pan with parchment paper.
  • Mix oats, cinnamon, salt, and baking powder in a bowl.
  • Dice apples and combine with honey, vanilla, and cinnamon.
  • Press half oat mix into pan, add apple mixture, and top with remaining oats.
  • Bake 25–30 minutes until golden brown.
  • Cool completely before cutting into bars.
