Ingredients

Cream Cheese Filling

  • 8 oz Cream cheese Softened
  • ¼ cup Granulated sugar
  • 1 Egg Large
  • 1 teaspoon Vanilla extract
  • 1 tablespoon All-purpose flour

Churro Coating

  • 1 can Crescent roll dough Refrigerated, 8 oz
  • ¼ cup Melted butter For brushing and coating
  • ½ cup Granulated sugar
  • 2 teaspoon Ground cinnamon
  • 1 pinch Salt Optional but enhances flavor

Instructions

  • Preheat oven to 375°F
  • Line baking sheet with parchment
  • Beat cream cheese and filling ingredients
  • Mix sugar, cinnamon, and salt
  • Melt butter
  • Cut crescent dough triangles in half
  • Fill dough with 1 teaspoon filling
  • Seal edges tightly
  • Brush with butter, roll in coating
  • Place in muffin tin or on sheet
  • Bake for 15–18 minutes
  • Cool 5 minutes before serving
