Instructions
Preheat oven, grease pans
Mix dry ingredients
Mix wet ingredients
Combine wet and dry ingredients, bake 25–30 minutes
Make cherry filling with juice, sugar, cornstarch, kirsch
Whip cream with sugar
Brush cake layers with kirsch syrup
Layer cake with cream and cherries
Cover with cream, garnish with shavings and cherries
Chill 2 hours before serving
