Ingredients

  • 1 cup Unsalted butter browned (2 sticks)
  • 1 cup Granulated sugar
  • 0.5 cup Brown sugar packed
  • 2 Eggs large, room temperature
  • 2 teaspoon Vanilla extract
  • 2.5 cups All-purpose flour
  • 1 teaspoon Baking soda
  • 0.5 teaspoon Salt
  • Coarse sugar optional, for rolling

Instructions

  • Brown butter in saucepan until golden and nutty; cool 10 min.
  • Mix sugars with cooled butter, add eggs and vanilla.
  • Fold in flour, baking soda, and salt until combined.
  • Roll dough into balls, place on lined baking sheet.
  • Bake at 350°F for 10–12 minutes until edges set.
  • Cool on wire racks before serving.
