Ingredients

  • 1 cup All-purpose flour
  • 0.5 cup Unsweetened cocoa powder sifted
  • 1 cup Butter melted
  • 1 cup Granulated sugar
  • 0.5 cup Brown sugar packed
  • 3 large Eggs room temperature
  • 1 teaspoon Vanilla extract
  • 0.5 teaspoon Baking powder
  • 0.5 teaspoon Salt
  • 0.5 cup Caramel sauce or bits plus extra for drizzle
  • 1 tablespoon Sea salt for topping
  • 0.5 cup Dark chocolate chips
  • 0.5 cup Milk chocolate chips

Instructions

  • Preheat oven to 350°F (175°C) and line pan.
  • Mix dry ingredients: flour, cocoa, baking powder, salt.
  • Melt butter and sugars, then add eggs and vanilla.
  • Combine wet and dry mixtures until just combined.
  • Pour half batter, drizzle caramel, add chocolate chips.
  • Add remaining batter, drizzle more caramel, sprinkle salt.
  • Bake 25–30 mins until toothpick has moist crumbs.
  • Cool 15 mins, transfer to rack, slice when set.

Notes

For an extra gooey experience, warm the brownies slightly before serving and top with ice cream.
