Ingredients

  • 2 ½ cups All-purpose flour Sifted
  • 1 cup Unsalted butter Softened
  • ¾ cup Brown sugar Packed
  • ½ cup Granulated white sugar
  • 2 large Eggs Room temperature
  • 1 teaspoon Vanilla extract
  • 1 teaspoon Baking soda
  • ½ teaspoon Salt
  • ¾ cup Dark chocolate chips
  • ¾ cup White chocolate chips
  • ¾ cup Maraschino cherries Chopped and patted dry
  • 1 tablespoon Cherry juice From maraschino cherries jar

Instructions

  • Cream butter and sugars.
  • Beat in eggs and vanilla.
  • Add cherry juice.
  • Mix dry ingredients separately.
  • Fold dry into wet mixture.
  • Stir in chips and cherries.
  • Chill dough 30 minutes.
  • Scoop onto baking sheets.
  • Bake at 350°F for 10–12 minutes.
  • Cool on pan for 5 minutes, then transfer to rack.

Notes

For best results, make sure cherries are well-drained and patted dry to avoid excess moisture in the dough.
