Ingredients

  • 2 ¾ cups All-purpose flour Spoon & level method
  • 1 cup Unsalted butter Softened
  • 1 cup Granulated sugar
  • 2 large Eggs Room temperature
  • 2 teaspoon Vanilla extract
  • 1 teaspoon Baking powder
  • ¼ teaspoon Salt
  • 1 tablespoon Cinnamon For filling
  • ½ cup Brown sugar For filling
  • Cream cheese frosting Optional
  • Cinnamon glaze Optional

Instructions

  • Cream butter and sugar until light
  • Add eggs and vanilla
  • Combine dry ingredients and mix into wet
  • Chill dough for 30 minutes
  • Mix brown sugar and cinnamon
  • Roll dough, add filling, and slice
  • Bake at 350°F for 10–12 min
  • Cool on rack and frost
