Ingredients

  • 2 cups All-purpose flour
  • ¼ cup Granulated sugar
  • 1 tablespoon Baking powder
  • ½ teaspoon Salt
  • 2 teaspoon Ground cinnamon
  • ¼ teaspoon Nutmeg
  • ½ cup Cold unsalted butter Cut into cubes
  • ½ cup Heavy cream
  • 1 large Egg
  • 1 teaspoon Vanilla extract
  • 1 tablespoon Granulated sugar For topping
  • ½ teaspoon Ground cinnamon For topping

Instructions

  • Preheat oven to 400°F
  • Whisk together the dry ingredients
  • Cut in cold butter until mixture is crumbly
  • In another bowl, mix wet ingredients
  • Stir wet into dry until dough forms
  • Let dough rest for 10 minutes
  • Shape dough into a circle and cut into wedges
  • Top with cinnamon sugar mixture
  • Bake for 15–18 minutes until golden
