Instructions
Preheat oven to 350°F (175°C) and grease pan.
Peel, core, and slice apples into 8 wedges.
Toss apples with lemon juice, cinnamon, and sugar.
Unroll crescent dough; place apple wedge at wide end.
Roll dough around apple and place in baking dish.
Melt butter; stir in brown sugar, vanilla, and salt.
Pour sauce evenly over dumplings.
Add Mountain Dew/Sprite around dumplings (optional).
Bake 35–40 min until golden and bubbling.
Cool 10 min before serving.
Notes
Serve warm with a scoop of vanilla ice cream for extra indulgence. You can skip the soda if you prefer a less sweet version.
