Ingredients

  • 1 cup Unsalted butter softened
  • 1 cup Granulated sugar
  • 1 cup Brown sugar packed
  • 2 Eggs room temperature
  • 2 teaspoon Vanilla extract
  • 2 ¼ cups All-purpose flour
  • 1 teaspoon Baking soda
  • ½ teaspoon Baking powder
  • ½ teaspoon Salt
  • 2 cups Old-fashioned rolled oats

  • ½ cup Shredded sweetened coconut

Instructions

  • Preheat oven
  • Cream butter and sugars
  • Add eggs and vanilla
  • Mix dry ingredients separately
  • Combine wet and dry mixtures
  • Fold in oats, chocolate, pecans, coconut
  • Portion dough using ¼ cup scoop
  • Flatten dough balls slightly
  • Bake for 12–14 minutes
  • Cool on sheet 5 mins, then rack
  • Optional: Press extra chips on top while warm
