Ingredients

Egg Roll Ingredients

  • 12 wrappers
  • 1 lb ground pork or chicken
  • 2 cups shredded cabbage
  • 1 cup shredded carrots
  • 1 cup bean sprouts
  • 4 stalks green onions, chopped
  • 1 tablespoon soy sauce
  • 2 cloves garlic, minced
  • 2 tablespoon sesame oil
  • 1 teaspoon ground ginger
  • 1 tablespoon oil (for brushing or spraying)

Instructions

  • In a mixing bowl, combine ground meat, cabbage, carrots, bean sprouts, green onions, soy sauce, garlic, sesame oil, and ground ginger.
  • Lay a wrapper flat, place 2–3 tablespoons of filling in the center, fold and roll tightly, sealing the edge with water. Repeat with remaining wrappers.
  • Preheat the air fryer to 375°F (190°C) for 3 minutes.
  • Brush or spray egg rolls with oil. Place in the air fryer basket in a single layer. Cook for 6 minutes, then flip and cook another 6 minutes or until golden and crispy.
  • Remove and let cool on a wire rack for 10 minutes before serving.

Notes

For a vegetarian version, omit the meat and double the vegetables. Serve with dipping sauce like sweet chili or soy sauce.
