Instructions
Mix flour, sugar, and salt; cut in butter; add ice water.
Wrap and refrigerate for 30 mins.
Toss sliced apples with sugar, lemon juice, spices, cornstarch.
Roll out dough into rounds.
Layer apples in a spiral; fold edges over.
Place cold butter cubes on apples.
Bake at 375°F for 35–40 minutes.
Optional: brush with warmed apricot jam.
Cool slightly and serve warm or at room temp.
