Ingredients

  • 200 grams Dark chocolate 70% cocoa
  • 115 grams Unsalted butter Melted
  • 100 grams Granulated sugar
  • 50 grams Brown sugar Light or dark
  • 3 large Eggs Room temperature
  • 1 teaspoon Vanilla extract
  • 100 grams All-purpose flour
  • 30 grams Cocoa powder Unsweetened
  • 1 tablespoon Espresso powder Dissolved in hot water optional
  • 0.5 teaspoon Salt
  • 100 grams Chocolate chips Optional
  • 2 tablespoon Heavy cream Optional for ganache/frosting

Instructions

  • Melt chocolate and butter
  • Whisk in sugars.
  • Add eggs one at a time.
  • Stir in vanilla.
  • Sift and mix dry ingredients.
  • Fold in chocolate chips.
  • Pour into pan.
  • Bake at 350°F for 25–30 min.
  • Cool in pan.
  • Rest 2 hours before serving.
