Ingredients
Hand Pie Dough

All-purpose flour

Unsalted butter
Cold, cut into cubes

Instructions
Mix dry ingredients and cut in butter.
Add ice water gradually and chill dough for 1 hour.
Roll dough and cut into circles using round cutter or bowl.
Fill and fold dough circles over the filling.
Seal edges with fork and brush with egg wash.
Bake at 375°F (190°C) for 25 minutes or until golden brown.
Cool on wire racks before serving.
Notes
Fillings can be sweet or savory — use what you have! Fruit preserves, seasoned vegetables, or meats all work well.
