Ingredients

  • 5 medium Apples (Honeycrisp or Granny Smith) peeled and sliced
  • 1 tablespoon Lemon juice freshly squeezed
  • 1 cup Rolled oats old-fashioned
  • cup Chopped almonds or pecans for variation
  • 3 tablespoon Coconut oil melted
  • ¼ cup Pure maple syrup or honey
  • 1 teaspoon Cinnamon ground
  • ¼ teaspoon Nutmeg ground
  • 1 teaspoon Vanilla extract pure
  • teaspoon Sea salt to balance sweetness

Instructions

  • Peel and slice apples, toss with lemon juice and cinnamon.
  • Mix oats, almonds, coconut oil, maple syrup, vanilla, nutmeg, and salt.
  • Spread apple layer in baking dish, top with oat mixture.
  • Bake at 350°F (175°C) for 25–30 minutes until golden brown.
  • Cool for 5 minutes before serving warm.
