Ingredients

Instructions
Combine yeast and warm water.
Add flour and liquids, knead until smooth.
First rise, about 1 hour.
Form into loaves and place in pans.
Second rise 30–45 minutes.
At 375–400°F (190–200°C), 35 minutes.
Transfer to rack and let rest before slicing.
Notes
For extra flavor, add herbs or seeds to the dough. Best enjoyed freshly toasted with butter or spreads.
