Instructions
Grind lavender buds finely but not into powder
Cream butter and sugar until light and fluffy
Add egg, vanilla, and lavender to creamed mix
Whisk flour, salt, and baking powder separately
Mix dry into wet until just combined
Form dough into a log and wrap in plastic
Refrigerate for at least 2 hours
Set oven to 350°F
Cut dough into ¼-inch rounds
Bake 12–15 min until edges are golden
Tap baking sheet on counter after baking
Transfer to wire rack to cool completely
