Instructions

  • Preheat oven to 350°F (175°C) and line a 9x13 inch pan with parchment paper.
  • Melt butter and whisk in sugar, eggs, and vanilla.
  • Stir in cocoa powder, then fold in flour and salt until combined.
  • Pour batter into pan and bake for 20-25 minutes until a toothpick comes out with a few moist crumbs.
  • Cool completely.
  • For frosting, beat softened butter, cocoa powder, powdered sugar, and milk until smooth and spreadable.
  • Frost cooled brownies and allow to set for 30 minutes before cutting.
