Instructions
Preheat oven to 350°F (175°C) and line a 9x13 inch pan with parchment paper.
Melt butter and whisk in sugar, eggs, and vanilla.
Stir in cocoa powder, then fold in flour and salt until combined.
Pour batter into pan and bake for 20-25 minutes until a toothpick comes out with a few moist crumbs.
Cool completely.
For frosting, beat softened butter, cocoa powder, powdered sugar, and milk until smooth and spreadable.
Frost cooled brownies and allow to set for 30 minutes before cutting.
