  • 1 8x8 inch square baking pan lined with parchment
  • 1 Fine-mesh sifter for matcha powder
  • 1 Large mixing bowl
  • 1 Electric mixer or whisk
  • 1 Rubber spatula

Ingredients

  • 2 tablespoon Matcha powder ceremonial grade, sifted
  • ½ cup Unsalted butter melted & cooled
  • 1 cup Granulated sugar
  • 2 large Eggs room temperature
  • ¾ cup All-purpose flour sifted
  • 1 teaspoon Vanilla extract
  • ¼ teaspoon Salt
  • ½ cup White chocolate chips optional
  • Powdered sugar for dusting

Instructions

  • Preheat oven to 350°F, line 8x8 pan with parchment.
  • Melt butter, let cool slightly.
  • Sift matcha and flour to remove lumps.
  • Whisk butter and sugar until smooth.
  • Add eggs one at a time, then vanilla.
  • Gently fold in matcha, flour, and salt.
  • Pour batter into pan and spread evenly.
  • Bake 25–30 min until edges set.
  • Cool completely before slicing.
  • Dust with powdered sugar.

Notes

You can customize the sweetness or matcha intensity by adjusting the amount of sugar or matcha powder. These brownies also taste amazing chilled!
