Ingredients

  • 2 sheets puff pastry thawed
  • 1 egg beaten (for egg wash)
  • 4 large eggs
  • 1 cup heavy cream
  • ½ cup whole milk
  • ½ teaspoon salt
  • ¼ teaspoon black pepper
  • teaspoon nutmeg
  • 1 cup Gruyere cheese shredded (or Swiss)
  • ¼ cup feta cheese crumbled, for spinach
  • 2 cups fresh spinach chopped
  • 1 small onion finely diced
  • 2 cloves garlic minced
  • 2 cloves butter
