Ingredients

  • 1 cup unsalted butter softened
  • ¾ cup brown sugar packed
  • ½ cup granulated sugar
  • 2 large eggs
  • 2 teaspoon vanilla extract
  • 1 ½ cups all-purpose flour
  • 1 teaspoon baking soda
  • 1 teaspoon ground cinnamon
  • ½ teaspoon salt
  • 3 cups old-fashioned oats
  • 1 cup raisins
  • 1 cup semi-sweet chocolate chips

Instructions

  • Preheat oven to 350°F and line baking sheets with parchment paper.
  • Whisk together oats, flour, baking soda, cinnamon, and salt.
  • Cream butter and sugars until light and fluffy.
  • Beat in eggs one at a time, then add vanilla extract.
  • Gradually mix dry ingredients into wet mixture.
  • Fold in raisins and chocolate chips gently.
  • Let dough rest in the fridge for 30 minutes.
  • Drop tablespoons of dough onto baking sheets.
  • Bake 10–12 minutes until edges are set.
  • Cool on sheet 5 min, then transfer to rack.
