Instructions
Cream butter and both sugars together until light and fluffy.
Add eggs and vanilla extract, beat until incorporated.
In a separate bowl, whisk together flour, baking soda, and salt.
Gradually add dry ingredients to wet ingredients, then fold in chocolate chips.
Wrap the dough in plastic wrap and chill for 30 minutes.
Prepare your desired fillings (Nutella, cream cheese, etc.).
Portion fillings and freeze them on a tray for easier handling.
Using a cookie scoop, portion dough and flatten each piece.
Place filling in center, seal dough around it to form a ball.
Bake on parchment-lined sheets at 350°F (175°C) for 12–15 minutes or until golden.
Notes
Try different fillings like marshmallow, peanut butter, or Oreo to customize these cookies to your taste!
