Equipment

  • 1 Muffin tin Standard 12-cup
  • 1 Rolling pin For flattening dough
  • 1 Pastry brush For butter application
  • 1 Sharp knife or pizza cutter For cutting dough strips

Ingredients

  • 2 sheets Puff pastry Thawed
  • 4 tablespoon Butter Melted
  • ¼ cup Sugar Granulated
  • 1 teaspoon Cinnamon Ground

Instructions

  • Preheat oven to 375°F (190°C).
  • Roll out puff pastry sheets into a thin rectangle.
  • Brush melted butter over the surface of the dough.
  • Sprinkle sugar and cinnamon evenly over the pastry.
  • Cut the pastry into strips, then roll each strip into a spiral.
  • Place the rolled pastry spirals into a greased muffin tin.
  • Bake for 20-25 minutes until golden brown.
  • Remove from oven and let cool for 10 minutes.
  • Coat warm cruffins in additional cinnamon sugar.

Notes

  • Best served same day
  • Can be made ahead up to lamination step
  • Dough can be refrigerated overnight
  • Allow extra time for dough to come to room temperature if refrigerated
