  • 1 Microwave-safe bowl For caramel
  • 1 Cooling rack For setting cookies

Ingredients

  • 2 ¼ cups All-purpose flour
  • 1 cup Unsalted butter Softened
  • 1 cup Brown sugar Packed
  • ½ cup Granulated sugar
  • 2 large Eggs Room temperature
  • 2 teaspoon Vanilla extract
  • ½ cup Cocoa powder Unsweetened
  • 1 teaspoon Baking soda
  • ½ teaspoon Salt
  • 1 ½ cups Semi-sweet chocolate chips
  • 20 pcs Caramel candies Unwrapped
  • 3 tablespoon Heavy cream
  • 1 cup Chopped pecans Divided
  • Sea salt flakes For topping

Instructions

  • Cream butter & sugars until fluffy
  • Add eggs & vanilla
  • Combine dry ingredients & fold in chocolate + pecans
  • Scoop dough balls onto tray
  • Bake at 350°F for 10–12 min
  • Re-press indentations while warm
  • Melt caramel + cream until smooth
  • Fill cookies with caramel
  • Top with pecans & sea salt, cool completely
