Ingredients

Instructions

  • Preheat oven to 350°F (175°C). Line a baking sheet with parchment or a silicone mat.
  • Cream butter and sugar until light and fluffy using a mixer.
  • Beat in the egg, almond extract, and vanilla extract until combined.
  • Whisk together almond flour, all-purpose flour, baking powder, salt, and any optional dry ingredients in a separate bowl.
  • Combine wet and dry ingredients until a soft dough forms.
  • Chill the dough in the refrigerator for 30 minutes.
  • Scoop 1 tablespoon portions onto the baking sheet using a cookie scoop.
  • Top with sliced almonds.
  • Bake for 12–15 minutes or until edges are golden brown.
  • Cool on a wire rack.
  • Dust with powdered sugar if desired before serving.
