Ingredients

For the Cake:

  • 1 ½ cups All-purpose flour
  • ¾ cup Nutella Warm slightly for easier mixing
  • 1 cup Granulated sugar
  • ½ cup Unsalted butter Softened
  • 3 Eggs Room temperature
  • ½ cup Milk Any variety
  • 1 teaspoon Vanilla extract
  • 1 ½ teaspoon Baking powder
  • ½ teaspoon Salt
  • cup Cocoa powder Unsweetened

For the Frosting:

  • ½ cup Nutella Warm slightly
  • ½ cup Unsalted butter Softened
  • 1 ½ cups Powdered sugar Sifted
  • 2–3 tbsp Heavy cream Adjust consistency
  • 1 teaspoon Vanilla extract
  • teaspoon Salt

Optional Toppings:

  • ¼ cup Chopped hazelnuts For crunch and garnish
  • ½ cup Strawberries Fresh
  • 2 tablespoon Chocolate shavings Optional decoration

Instructions

  • Preheat oven and prep pans
  • Mix dry ingredients
  • Cream butter, sugar, Nutella
  • Add eggs and vanilla
  • Alternate dry and milk
  • Pour into pans and bake
  • Cool completely
  • Beat frosting ingredients
  • Assemble and layer cake layer
  • Decorate as desired
